These terms apply to the Hintje app and website. Hintje is offered by PROVIDER, to be filled in by G before launch: name; legal form; registered address; Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number and VAT number (if a business); email address.

What Hintje does

With Hintje you make wishlists inside an event, such as a birthday or Christmas with the family. Everyone in the event sees each other's lists and what has already been arranged, but not by whom. You do not see what has been arranged from your own list. Givers without an account can arrange a wish through a link. You can also draw names in an event.

Hintje is free. We may receive a fee when someone buys something through a shop link: see Affiliate.

Links

Anyone with the link to an event or list can see what that link shows. Only share links with people who may see them. You can replace a link with a new one; the old one then stops working. A link can also have a password.

Drawing names

Names are drawn on our server. Nobody can see who has whom, not even the organiser. Each participant only sees their own draw through a personal link. If someone joins or leaves after the draw, all names are drawn again.

What you put on Hintje

You are responsible for what you put on your lists and in your events. Do not post anything unlawful or offensive, or anything that infringes other people's rights.

Reporting abuse

See something on Hintje that isn't right? Use "Report abuse" at the bottom of the page, or email misbruik@hintje.com. Include the page's link so we can find it. We look at every report and may remove content or an account that breaks these terms. How quickly we respond: to be filled in by G.

Shops

Wishes can contain links to shops. You buy from the shop itself, under that shop's terms. Prices and availability on Hintje may differ from the shop's.

Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Hintje working well, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors. Legal decision needed: limitation of liability.

Your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time. What happens to your data is in the privacy policy.

Changes

We may change these terms. We will announce important changes in the app. Date of the last change.

Governing law

Legal decision needed: governing law and competent court (proposal: Dutch law), taking consumers in Belgium into account.
